Yoongi turned off the tv before he took it and stood, though he was only one his own feet for a few moments before Jin scooped him up and carried him back to his room. Jin shifted his feet off his lap and stood up. Yoongi nodded, sleepy but still fighting it. Each of them had their preferred method and Jin’s was massaging him with the nighttime baby lotion Jeongguk had suggested Yoongi try as part of his nightly routine. Luckily the others had become adept at helping him with this problem. In turn, if he had a weird dream he tended not to want to go back to sleep once he woke up.
He knew that for some reason Yoongi tended to have weird dreams if he fell asleep before he could go through his nightly routine. He’d actually suspected something like this might happen when he noticed earlier that Yoongi had conked out on his bed without even shutting his door. “Want a massage?” Jin offered, completely non-judgemental. He felt a little silly but he knew Jin would understand. Didn’t want to go back to sleep.” Yoongi explained. He knew his dongsaeng had been asleep earlier in the night. “Are you okay? Did you have a bad dream?” Jin added after a moment of basking in Yoongi’s adorableness. He blushed and looked away, bashful in the face of a complement. “Yeah you were.” Jin agreed completely sincerely, taking Yoongi by surprise. “I was pretty though.” He defended himself, batting his eyes at his Hyung. Yoongi snorted and wiggled his toes against Jin’s stomach. Pretty sure whatever rep you had got killed the moment you walked down the stairs in that maid outfit way back when.” Jin agreed, still grinning. “So maybe I don’t really.” He conceded as Jin gently lifted his feet to rest in his lap. hip-hop doesn’t allow cutesy but I do?” He teased, grinning, and Yoongi rolled his eyes, only semi-successfully holding his own grin back. Jin snorted as he locked his phone and set it aside. I have a reputation to uphold.” He joked. Had it been one of the others he would have found it cute. He looked at himself, snug in a blanket except for his face and one hand which was wrapped around the handle of his cup of juice, the straw resting right near his pouting lips, eyes focused on the tv screen, and he supposed he could see it. He tapped to open the picture and showed Yoongi. I couldn’t resist.” He explained as he lowered it and padded over to sit on the couch by his feet.
He looked over to find Jin looking at him over the top of his cell phone. He got through two episodes and was just starting a third when he heard a noise. Satisfied, he waddled over to the couch and curled up to watch Lucifer, an American show he’d slowly been working his way through on Netflix. He grabbed his current favorite cup, plastic with a straw and handle, and filled it. He opened the fridge and debated what he wanted, settling on a cup of juice. He walked into the den and turned the tv on before going over to the kitchen. Yawning, he quietly padded out of his room, pulling the door shut behind him. Feeling a little better already with the room better lit, he stood and stretched, making a face as various joints popped in response. He laid there for a moment, working up the energy, before slowly tilting himself into a sitting position and flicking his bedside light on. But it was unnerving and even though he was still so tired, eyelids fighting not close again, he didn’t want to go back to sleep.

He resisted though, rolling over and staring at the beam of light pouring in from the hallway through the crack he’d left in his door in his exhausted stumble over to his bed. Yoongi came back to consciousness slowly, the dream clinging to him and threatening to pull him back under if he let it.
